Testimonials
"I have attended three lectures from the NAPES team in the past and found it extremely informational and motivational! The subject of pain is dealt in a simplistic manner in order to make the student understand clearly instead of burying critical data under significant and confusing studies. It is obvious that Dr.s Barnhill, Loch and Mr. Neary each have a strong suit and they exercise that fact for the student's benefit. I hate to rely on only one source to increase my knowledge base but these guys are a very difficult lecture to beat. The cadaver lab is highly recommended, it was done with expertise and consideration to various levels of knowledge without making anyone self conscious. Well done Keith, Jerry and Jack, you guys are tops! Thank you." -William Balboa MSNA, CRNA, FAAPM |
| "Kudos, to Jack, Keith and Jerry
for the NAPE seminar last week (5/07). Those of you thinking about taking
the course DO IT!! It is extremely informative. Once agian thanks for
the mentorship. And thanks to my fellow classmates for a stimulating and
interactive experience." -Rob Schmieg, CRNA |
"I have attended three different interventional pain meetings in the past but the NAPES meeting was by far the best of the bunch. Without a doubt Jack, Jerry, and Keith were the most informative of any of the faculty that I have encountered at any pain meeting. For me, having done several interventional pain injections, the most unique aspect of their meeting was the physical assessment portion of the classes. This was not offered as part of the curriculum at the other meetings and is the keystone for anyone planning on providing interventional pain services as part of their practice. They also did a fantastic job of explaining the anatomy of the spine, made MRI and CAT scan interpretation much easier, and offered their opinions in regards to the pharmacological choices as they relate to interventional pain management. This was all done in a very systematic way that made learning very comfortable for the novice as well as those with experience. Another bonus for attendees is that the educational process does not stop at the conclusion of the meeting. All three of these gentlemen are only an email away from answering your questions as you return to your practices. This course is a MUST for any CRNA who is planning on starting or currently practicing interventional pain management." -Lynn Dunford, CRNA |
| "I'd like to stuff one of the
guys (or all of 'em) in my back pocket as I get started on the road to
a pain service. I'd have to work real hard to get Keith in there though!
It was the finest CRNA course I have attended in 30 years. These guys
are my heros." -Craig Gill, CRNA |
| "There's is nothing so good as good health when it leaves even if temporarily. The NAPES course was the best I've been to bar none for years and I mean years. I have been doing "catch-as-catch-can" pain management for a long time but have just recently added a partner and am going into it in a much more determined, and formal way. I have ordered the AAPM text and am planning on becoming a fellow in that organization as time and the Lord allow. Best to you and the other guys and please pass that on if you would. Keep up the good work and this is rather selfish I know but consider perhaps having it in Omaha again if you would. Just a very, very good course. And I would consider repeating as others have." -George De Vries III |
